As United Methodists, our heritage is Wesleyan.
We believe in a scriptural way of salvation often describing God's grace in our lives as a journey of faith. We experience the Prevenient Grace of God before we are even aware as God longs to be in relationship with us. We experience Justifying Grace when we are led by faith to repent of our sins and commit our lives to Jesus Christ. We experience a lifetime of grace as God provides Sanctifying Grace, that which leads us and guides us in the Holy Spirit to be more like Christ.
We practice our faith as a means of sharing in God's grace through weekly worship, meeting in small groups, sharing in Bible studies, serving in our community as partners, mentors, leaders, and care-givers for God's people. We strive for a balanced spiritual life of faith in Jesus our Lord and Savior. We baptize infants in the tradition of parents bringing children into the community of faith. We confirm our teenagers and celebrate with them in their confession of faith.
Our Sacraments include Baptism and The Lord's Supper.
Our ministry is one of discipleship and transformation. As believers in Jesus, we seek to make disciples for Jesus Christ. We are followers (disciples) who are called to be partners in God's mission of redemption in the world. In the ministry of Jesus Christ, we seek to be transformed in God's grace so that we can be a part of the transformation of God's world.
